Normal business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Available 24 hours a day for emergencies.

Emergency

Emergency service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are unsure if your pet's condition is an emergency, please call (508) 839-5395. The emergency and initial examination fee is $150.

Foster Hospital for Small Animals is part of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. It is a teaching hospital providing veterinary services including specialty referrals and emergency 24-hour care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets including birds, reptiles and small mammals. My Experience:
Dr. Joerg Mayer is a dedicated, competent, and distinguished veterinarian with a real appreciation for the health concerns of cavies. Thanks to him, our guinea pig received the care she needed to live her eighth year in comfort, despite the many difficulties she was experiencing because of a large mass in her abdomen. He belongs on the short list of anyone looking for truly specialized cavy healthcare.
