I received a couple of recommends to see this vet when she was at the Cheyanne West animal hospital. She has since moved to Caring Hands on Rancho. At the time of this entry (May 2011) the fee for a check up is $48. Little Junie ended up having an upper respitory infection. The doctor prescribed some medicine and a follow up appointment (no charge for the second appointment.) We were impressed with the care we received for our fuzzy girl.

Dr. Christine Kolmstetter has relocated to Aloha Animal Hospital at 7341 South Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89139, (702) 567-5222. I have followed Dr. K for 12+ years. She has been my vet for all 7 of my piggies I have had over the past 12 years and to my hedgehog. She is certified in canine rehabilitation as well, and has become my two beloved canines’ vet. An appointment with Dr. K is like sitting in on a vet class. I always learn something after an appointment with her. She is kind and sympathetic, and she listens to the pet owner! Dr. K also has a strong background in animal nutrition and will set you straight on all the pet food propaganda besieging us. I highly recommend Dr. K at Aloha Animal Hospital! And, the other three vets at Aloha whom I have consulted with during Dr. K's absence.
Dr K really knows what she's doing! She treats the right illness with the right meds. Takes the time to answer all your questions. You can tell she's very dedicated and devoted. Patches liked her too! She ONLY treats small animals and exotics. I wish I found her sooner; she probably could have saved poor little Dakota. That's ok, at least I know where to take Patches. She takes care not to stress the GP any more than absolutely necessary.
Now that I found her, I won't go anywhere else :-)
