These two female guinea pigs are in desperate need of a home!!

My family and I took them in from a friend who no longer wanted to care for them and was considering letting them go in a wooded area. I knew that they would not be able to survive so I offered to take them. I am an animal lover and have had cats and other small animals all of my life and could not fathom letting these little critters suffer such a fate. However providing their care is more difficult than I initially anticipated and we can no longer keep them. Plus my mom is mildly allergic to them and cannot handle them. We also have 3 cats that we adopted from shelters and one we rescued as a kitten from the street. We are doing the best we can but I do not feel we are providing the best possible care to these animals.

The mama is named Cookie and the baby is Sugar. They are about 3 or 4 years old.
