I have been taking my pets (i.e. rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and now dog) to Dr. Lissa Kam since the mid-80's when I was in elementary school and rescued every animal that came my way. She has always done an excellent job in taking care of my pets throughout the different stages in their lives, but has a special place in her heart for guinea pigs. She is an actual guinea pig owner herself and has a lot of knowledge about their care, habits and needs. The Hawaiian Humane Society also calls upon her when they have a special guinea pig who needs to be fostered or adopted. Dr. Kam is very gentle and will take the time to answer all of your questions. She is also very reasonably priced for the excellent care she provides. Now, as an adult, I have adopted two guinea pigs from the Humane Society and I will definitely continue taking them to Dr. Kam!
