She's not bad, but I prefer her husband.

Dr. Riddle's husband Dr. Olm shares her practice and he is our primary vet. We saw her once when we couldn't get an appt with him and I was very unimpressed with her. We came in with mites, I said it was mites and we need Ivermectin, but she insisted on doing 3 different tests that all came back inconclusive. She then agreed that it is probably mites and gave us Ivermectin ($300 in tests later). But she didn't feel our pig needed it, even though I insisted it was contagious. We ended up coming back with our second pig, who of course got the mites and we ended up doing 6 weeks of treatments because it had gone too long..

Our second pig weighed 3 times as much as the first pig, so his dose should have been 3 times as much (since dosage goes by weight). When I noticed that the second pig's dosage wasn't right I took it back and Dr Riddle told me I was wrong but she would look into it. When I picked it up again later it was adjusted to what I said it should have been, with no apology for arguing with me or mis-dosing my pig for 3 weeks! Needless to say we are done with her.

Her husband is amazing though. He discusses each test he wants to do beforehand AND tells us how much it will be, which we appreciate, as we have had to opt out of really pricey tests. He doesn't make you feel bad about it either. He is also VERY knowledgeable about diet and gives you a whole hour per visit. We'll stick with him.
